Sundance invites you to join us for an evening of poetry with Lindsay Wilson and Steve Coughlin

Lindsay Wilson is Reno's 2017/18 Poet Laureate. He is an English professor at Truckee Meadows Community College where he has edited the literary journal, The Meadow, since 2006. He has served on the editorial boards for Unwound Magazine, the Owen Wister Review, and Fugue. From 2009 to 2017 he served on the Nevada Writers’ Hall of Fame Selection Committee. He earned his B.S. in Social Science (1997) and his M.A. in English at the University of Wyoming (2003) before completing his M.F.A. in poetry at the University of Idaho (2006). In 2016 he won the Board of Regents Nevada System of Higher Education Regents’ Creative Activities Award. He has been named a finalist for the Phillip Levine Prize, he has published five chapbooks, and his first collection, No Elegies, won the Quercus Review Press Spring Book Award. His poetry has appeared in numerous journals including The Bellevue Literary Review, Pank, The Portland Review, Verse Daily, and The Missouri Review Online.


 Steve Coughlin's book of poetry, Another City, was a finalist for the FututreCycle Poetry Book Prize. His poems, essays, and stories have appeared in several notable magazines and literary journals, including the Gettysburg Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Gulf Coast, Seneca Review, New Ohio Review, and Slate. He teaches creative writing and American literature at Chadron State College in Nebraska.
